Exit Information

Thanks for letting us know you are planning to leave. Please complete the form below so we can return your security deposit. Please take note of what you must do prior to leaving your accommodation.

You must vacate your room by 9:30am

To receive your security deposit back we ask that you do the following things before you leave.

  • PERSONAL POSESSIONS: Remove all of your possessions from the bedroom and property.
    Don’t forget to check under the bed, in the wardrobe, kitchen & bathroom.
  • RUBBISH REMOVAL: Remove all rubbish and unwanted items from your bedroom and property.
    Make sure your bedroom floor, area around and under your bed and the wardrobe is clean of rubbish. Place rubbish in the wheelie bin at your property. Large items should be taken to the local council rubbish dump.
    Additional cleaning or dump run - charged at cost + BPM staff time to co-ordinate – This will be deducted if the tenant has not left their room in a satisfactory condition as per the exit information form or has left an excessive amount of rubbish/belongings/furniture at the property.
  • LINEN RETURN: Remove all used sheets and bedding from the bed and leave at the end of your bed, place this in the empty linen bag and leave in the laundry room for collection.This must include: Mattress protector, sheet, pillow and pillow case.
    As agreed to on arrival, $30.00 will be deducted from the security deposit when the tenant leaves, this is to cover the provision of and cleaning of these items and the room when they vacate.
    Up to $30.00 will also be deducted if the start-up linen pack is not returned when tenant vacates.
  • DAMAGE: Please report any damages or repairs required to our property manager deb@boonahpropertymanagers.com.au
  • Any additional charges incurred if house rules are repeatedly disregarded or damage is caused to the property and remuneration has not already been sought.
  • Security deposit will be forfeited and extra charges may apply if fire equipment, including smoke detectors and fire panel are tampered with by the tenant.
